Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest

The St. Theresa Knights of Columbus are sponsoring a basketball free-throw contest, to provide an athletic outlet for students, and to encourage the values of sportsmanship and healthy competition. Open to boys / girls ages 9-14 (9-11) (12-14) .Each entrant must have an official Knights of Columbus entry form signed by parent/guardian to participate. Click HERE for entry forms.

Contest  held at the St. Theresa Middle School Gym on Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 1:00pm-3:00pm

Winners from each age group continue in additional contests

 

District contest: Sunday February Sunday February 10,2019

Diocesan contest: Sunday February 24, 2019

Council winner awards TBD.   District through International contest winners receive trophies

 


Substance Abuse Awareness Poster Entry Form

The St. Theresa Knights of Columbus Council is sponsoring a Substance Abuse Poster Contest. Students are encouraged to develop an original poster and slogan idea, designed to discourage their peers from experimenting with drugs and alcohol. Contest is open to all boys and girls ages 8-14.  Either theme can be used: Alcohol Awareness and Abuse or Drug Awareness and Abuse

Poster size 11”x17” (contact Duke Soulier at church office for poster board)

Each entry must have an official Knights of Columbus entry form signed by parent/guardian. Click HERE for entry form.

Poster must be submitted no later than January 31, 2019

Council $$ Awards per group winner

Diocesan winners receive plaques and advance to State contest

First Place State Winner in each of 4 categories receive $200

Second Place State Runner-Up in each of 4 categories receive $100
