Being a cantor means praising the Lord through singing his Word. Cantors are asked to attend choir practice on Wednesday evenings to rehearse the upcoming Sunday’s music selections with the choir. Cantors must possess a strong singing voice and be capable of encouraging the congregation to join in singing.
This choir is made up of people from several parishes in the surrounding area. They offer their voices for funerals at the different churches as needed.
This choir sings at our 9:30am mass on Sundays. They rehearse on Wednesdays at 6:30pm in the Church and meet again at 8:30am on Sunday to rehearse until mass time. Please feel free to email Chad LeBlanc at email@example.com about any of the above musical opportunities.
Contemporary Choir and Musicians
Our contemporary music ministry is growing. We are always looking for musicians and choir members who might be interested in this exciting ministry of our church. Ask for Deacon Jodi Moscona when calling the church office with inquiries about the Contemporary Choir.
